Ben Frecon, PMP DASM
Certified Project Management Professional (PMP)

Earning my PMP certification was a significant milestone for me. I’ve always been passionate about Project Management, and after years of hands-on experience, achieving this certification was a goal I had long worked toward. The process is no small feat—it requires verified real-world experience, mentorship, 35 hours of PMP coursework on top of a Bachelor’s degree, and extensive prep for a rigorous four-hour exam that many don’t pass on their first attempt.
Beyond earning the certification, maintaining it is just as important. A PMP requires 60 hours of continuing education every three years, which keeps me sharp and up to date on evolving project management methodologies, emerging technologies, and industry best practices. It’s more than just a credential—it’s a commitment to staying at the top of my game.
Certified Disciplined Agile Scrum Master (DASM)

Earning my DASM certification is a testament to my Agile expertise. The Disciplined Agile (DA) framework blends Lean, Kanban, Flow, Adaptive Planning, and Scrum into a flexible, people-centric approach that prioritizes individuals over rigid processes. It provides lightweight guidance, allowing teams to tailor and optimize workflows based on the unique needs of each project.

I’ve always been a strong advocate for Agile—it just makes sense. It’s an efficient, adaptable way to manage work, and even projects that claim to follow a strict Waterfall methodology almost always contain a some Agile to a certain extend. Having a solid foundation in both Agile and traditional project management ensures I can navigate and adapt to any project environment effectively.
