What is one of your favorite things about being a PM?
One of the most challenging and rewarding aspects about working as a PM is that I am often asked to join projects in new industries and new technologies. I have found the key to successfully navigating a new industry or new technology is to do as much research and preparation as you can before project start.

How did your experience prepare you for working as a Project Manager.
I’ve worked for large fortune 100 companies and very small businesses and have worked on multi-year, multi billion-dollar projects and small projects that lasted less than two days. My experience in business management and sales adds great value to projects, I understand how business operates and the obstacles that often prevent it from achieving it’s goals

What are your favorite hobbies?
My main hobby is Enduro Motorcycle racing. I compete in dirt bike enduro races with the ECEA (East Coast Enduro Association) which has over 1,100 enduro competitors challenging themselves in 18 enduros in the Mid Atlantic region. I am currently one of the top B level riders in my class and usually place in the top 5. It’s a great hobby that keeps me fit and healthy.
I love the outdoors, when I am not racing, I am usually spending time with my family. hiking or traveling to visit relatives in San Diego and Atlanta areas

What are some of your personal interests?
I enjoy watching Formula 1 races at home and traveling to watch a regional rally race here in Pennsylvania. I also enjoy music, at one time I own a DJ business, I still like to hear new music, particularly in the hip-hop, alternative and rock genres.
Where is the most interesting place you’ve been?
Argentina is the most interesting place I have been. Patagonia is a vast open space, brings to mind the old west. We often drove for hours on paved roads without seeing any signs of civilization, not even another car. While on a ranch there I met a Gaucho. This guy was the real deal, he was dressed impeccably- just like a gaucho you would find a Google image search: nice brimmed hat, buttoned shirt, neckerchief tie, pants tucked in high leather boots, woolskin chaps and silver alloy belt buckle with matching knife and sheath. He was traveling from ranch to ranch on horseback mending fences, that was his trade. I watched him ride off across the plains, until he became a tiny speck and eventually rode out of sight - his wife and toddler on their own horse right at his side. It was an incredible site!
